Downloadable graphs

These graphs are all in different formats for use on your computer or just for printing. I have printed graphs onto 'transparencies' that I can pick up at the local office supply store. This gives me the advantage of being able to lay the graph over a drawing or picture and translate it into the beads on my working copy will less erasing.

To download files, click on the image next to the graph set you want and follow the instructions in the dialog box. These are all .zip files so you will need an 'unzipping' program such as WinZIP or PKzip to open them. Each of the files contains a set of Peyote Stitch, Brick Stitch, Loom, and Right Angle Weave (RAW) graphs.

2 color/Grey Scale '.gif' format

These are basic 2 color graphs (black & white only). They're good for printing out and designing with colored pencils or pens. I have also printed graphs onto 'transparencies' that I can pick up at the local office supply store. This gives me the advantage of being able to lay the graph over a drawing or picture and translate it into the beads on my working copy will less erasing.

256 color '.gif' format

These graphs are web-safe 256 color. You can load them into a graphics program such as Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop and use the Paint Bucket to fill each bead. This saves a lot of frustration and messy erasing. To get the '3-D' effect, I used a 'preset' I created with the Blade Pro filter - see below for details.

16 mil. color .bmp format

These are for those of you with PCs who don't have a special graphics program other than Paint, which is included with Windows 3.1, 95, and 98. You can load these into it, and use the Paint Bucket to fill the beads.

Flat Round Rosette Graphs

This set of graphs are simple black & white .gifs. Rosettes are also known as beaded medallions and you can make some of the most exquisite 'mandala' designs with them. They are commonly found on traditional Native American garb, but you can use them for barrettes, doilies, or just use your imagination. I've made coasters out of them.

Blade Pro 3-D Bead Filter

I created this filter when I was working on my logo graphics in PSP. You need to have the Blade Pro filter software to use it. You can go to their site and download a demo. It works well with designs created in most beading software. It can also be used with the graphs, but I would only recommend it if it is a small graph, as you need to 'select' each bead.
